May 15, 2020 - Friday VETERANS TRIBUTE CARILLON TOWER ESCORT FROM CINCINNATI, OH TO GEORGIA NATIONAL CEMETERY, CANTON, GA . The US Marine Riders joined forces with the Patriot Guard Riders from Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky in this multi-states escort while accompanying the newly manufactured Carillon Tower (Bell Tower) to the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The tower will stand forty feet high and house three cast bronze bells (which were cast along with donated jewelry, trinkets and medals by families and friends). The music will broadcast through three large speakers. It can play up to 1000 songs. Ten bagpipe songs are included: "Amazing Grace", "Going Home", "Highland Cathedral", "America", "Flowers of the Forest", and the songs of each branch of the Armed Services. "Taps" and "Volley" are also included. A bronze commemorative plaque will be installed at the base of the tower. The plaque will read: "This Tower Stands As A Lasting Tribute Honoring The Past, Saluting The Present, and Inspiring The Future For All American Veterans" It was truly an honor to be a part of this event!
